Running the Trip — Trip Events Explained
You log your progress step by step from the booking's detail page — this is what powers the customer's live tracking.
| Event | What to do |
|---|---|
| En Route to Pickup | Log this as soon as you head to collect the pet. |
| Arrived at Pickup | Optional checkpoint — log it when you arrive. |
| Picked Up | Enter the customer's pickup PIN to confirm custody. |
| Payment Received | Confirm once the customer has paid your driver fee in person. |
| In Transit | Log once you're on the road — requires payment to be confirmed first. |
| Rest Stop | Optional — log any stop along the way. |
| Near Destination | Optional courtesy update as you approach drop-off. |
| Delivered | Enter the delivery PIN to confirm drop-off — this automatically marks the trip Completed. |
Important
You cannot log "In Transit" until you've confirmed "Payment Received" — always collect your fee from the customer before leaving the pickup location.
